Contemporary Textile Artist
I am a textile and mixed media artist. I create textile 2D and 3D abstract pieces, using fabric and paper. Since completing my B.A. Hons in Textile and Surface Design I have been developing my textile practice based at Neoartist Studios in Bolton.
I teach art and craft to adults with additional needs. Run workshops and talks as well as producing work for exhibitions.
My practice is inspired by the urban landscape and the patterns created by our interventions and manipulation of nature. I have a strong interest in the marks made by man on the landscape. My recent work combines this interest with social history.
